my mother was so touched when she received her bracelet for christmas. i was just impressed that it arrived so quickly! she LOVED the gift wrapping, i almost thought she liked the mini parol that was also in the package more than the actual bracelet. she opened her present in the most tender way, solely because the gift wrapping was so special and detailed. my mom is from ilocos sur and when she read “amami” on the box, she was surprised and very quietly explained the meaning of the word. i explained to her that i wanted to gift her something from ilocos, since she can’t visit as often because of the distance, and she loved the history of the bracelet and how intricate the details were. she now wears it every day and immediately showed her other ilocano friends on christmas day as well as her coworkers. the quality of the bracelet as well as the history of the goldsmithing technique + the mission of amami’s founders make it the perfect gift for any special someone in your life. this will certainly not be our last purchase!
