Ivatan Jewelry by AMAMI seeks to revive and raise awareness about a long forgotten cultural heritage of the Ivatan people of Batanes, located in the northernmost tip of the Philippines.

Intriguing shape and satisfying details

I originally ordered these in SMALL but changed my mind and got my order modified to LARGE. I am so impressed with the smooth shape of the gold droplet and the intricate details of the part that hangs above the droplet.I'm glad I decided to go with LARGE, I feel these will have just the right impact for a bit more special occasions. Also, I am proud to have earrings crafted by Filipino artisans!

Felt like an Ivatan princess with this beautiful dangling earrings! I’m glad I found the small version, which is the perfect size for everyday wear—not too flashy or too heavy at all.

An underrated staple

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin. I was stuck between several of their earrings before deciding on the large Bumbolya Drops, and I made the right choice because these earrings are STUNNING. Unique and showstopping without overwhelming my face, they're the perfect mix of contemporary chic with visible influences of the precolonial Philippines. Like the previous reviewer said, the packaging is a treat in and of itself, and their shipping/customer service is impeccable. I asked for same day delivery as I would be traveling with little time to spare, and despite the traffic in Metro Manila, my order reached me on time and without any major issues! My ear piercings were starting to close, so the earrings took a day or two to get used to, but after a week I haven't been itchy at all and I've gotten used to their weight! Thank you so much for this beautiful piece and taking the time to accommodate my requests, I 100% will be coming back for the other pieces I was looking at✨
