The Loida Creolla is a special to us as it was the piece wherein one of our partner artisans so shyly asked if he could name this piece after his sister - he had even consulted with his family members abroad via video call! It was one of the first times we saw our artisans' enthusiasm for the craft slowly start to come back since we met them in 2017. Hooray for little victories!
