The Amami Tamburin Necklace
5 in stock
#KnowYourTambourine: Coined from 'Ama Namin', meaning 'Our Father' in Tagalog, the Amami was once used as the paternoster bead of rosary-inspired necklaces often worn during the Spanish colonial period. We've taken it from its conventional form and function to bring new, versatile ways for you to wear your heritage.
Each Amami bead containing over a HUNDRED tiny globules of silver manually pieced together, the Amami is arguably the most stunning and intricate tambourine bead we've come across (hence our name!) It is also the most difficult and time-consuming to make - a single bead takes at least an entire day to make!
The Amami Pendant Necklace comes with an adjustable 16-18" chain for you to be able to change lengths depending on your mood and outfit. Wear it on its own or layer it on with your other precious keepsakes. It is wearable art for your neck that you'll want to wear time and time again.
