Did you know: The Estela is named in honor of the wife of one of our partner artisans. Estela is a loving mother who has sacrificed being with her family to work overseas in order to make ends meet. When we met her family in 2017, she had not seen her husband and kids for 7 years. She is one of the reasons why we strive to work harder each day and ensure sustainable livelihood for our artisans and their families. One day, we hope to be able to bring Estela back home for good.
The Estela Rosita Pearl Drop Earrings are made using an ancient technique in jewelry making called granulation wherein, after a long and tedious preparation process, tiny globules of metal are manually pieced and soldered together to form its decorative floral features. Only the most skilled and determined artisans are capable of mastering this technique.
This pair features freshwater pearls sourced locally from Philippine waters for that added dainty touch to any outfit.
